Community & Carers Information Day 2019 (QLD)
ADHD Australia has put together an afternoon information session in Brisbane at the end of July on a variety of ADHD topics.
We are pleased to have speaking Ms Christine Morgan who is currently the CEO of the National Health Commission as well as Ms Rose Callaghan who is a Sydney based award winning stand-up comedian, media personality and ADHD spokesperson.
During the afternoon we will also have a number of other speakers including;
Lou Brown, talking about ‘The importance of self-compassion when you have ADHD’,
Monica Hassell, who will present some of her research into ‘Why children with ADHD lie’,
Associate Professor Emma Sciberras, who will speak about ‘ADHD and Sleep’,
Dr Maddi Derrick, who will highlight the Educational gaps survey,
Dr Michele Toner, who will give some insight into ‘Education and ADHD.’ and
Professor Mark Bellgrove will highlight what AADPA is undertaking in relation to Treatment Guidelines.
There will be plenty of time to ask questions from the speakers after we return from afternoon tea. We are grateful for the support from the Australian ADHD Professionals Association (AADPA) in enabling us to hold our afternoon session following on from their own conference weekend.
We hope that you will be able to join us for a time to listen, ask questions of our panel and to meet with others who have a personal interest in things ADHD.
