ADHD Australia would like to encourage the ADHD community to make their own submissions into the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability. This Royal Commission will investigate and report on the experiences and conditions in all settings including schools and workplaces.
ADHD Australia believes it is very important for all of the voices within the ADHD community to be heard and so please click here to go to the Royal Commission website and share your story.
The Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability’s report is due for final release in April 2022, which will recommend how to improve laws, policies, structures and practices to ensure a more inclusive and just society.
This October in ADHD Awareness Month is the perfect chance to raise awareness of this so why not head to the Royal Commission website and share your story at: https://disability.royalcommission.gov.au/share-your-story
Yours sincerely
