Factors Contributing to Higher Education Success

We are looking for current and former higher education students to complete an online survey that will take approximately 30 minutes. The purpose of this study is to examine the factors contributing to higher education success for neurodivergent students. The study poses minimal risk and likely no direct benefit to current or former higher education students or your organisation. However, the information gained from the study will help us to gain a better understanding of the support needs and barriers to success for neurodivergent students. Ultimately it is hoped that this information will improve the supports provided to neurodivergent students in higher education, and thus increase their opportunities for success in the future.

To be included in the study, current and former students must be at least 18 years of age, possess English proficiency, and be currently enrolled at, or have attended since 2015, a higher education institution in Australia or New Zealand. Upon completion of the survey, participants can choose to enter a 1-in-5 chance to win an AUD$25 (for Australian residents) or US$20 (for New Zealand residents) Amazon gift card. This study has ethics approval – Ethics Reference Number HREC210027.

If you would be willing to pass along the opportunity to participate in the study to members of your organisation, we would greatly appreciate it. In return, we are happy to provide a presentation in a format of your choice to share the results of the study with interested members of your organisation. If you would prefer a copy of the results instead of a presentation, we would also be happy to provide you with an email or paper copy of the findings.

If you would like additional information concerning this study, please feel free to contact Lyndel Kennedy at L.Kennedy@latrobe.edu.au. We appreciate your time and consideration.
