ADHD Awareness Month
The mission of ADHD Awareness Month is to educate the public about ADHD by disseminating reliable information based on the evidence of science and peer-reviewed research. They produce a number of online resources, such as factsheets and posters which can come in handy when you need to explain succinctly what ADHD is and what it is not.
ADDitude is a magazine and online resource centre which provides advice and support for parents and adults who are living with ADHD.
This organisation wishes to provide access to evidence based information which is centred on scientific research, some of which is free and some which is via a paid subscription. Two links which have some free information are listed below.
Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD)
Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD), is a US national non-profit organization (based out of Lanham Maryland) providing education, advocacy and support for individuals with ADHD.
Dentably (Emergency Dentist USA) is an organisation which is a dental referral service dedicated to providing the best possible dental care.
When it comes to going to the dentist, patients with ADHD have a tendency to feel anxious or stressed which can make it hard for them to focus and sit still during a dental appointment.

Parenting Pod
Parenting Pod consists of a team of physicians and therapists who are committed to improving the mental health & wellbeing of families. Their goal is to provide informational and educational material based on the latest research and on their our own clinical experience, yet presented in an easy-to-read format.
Understood is US based and began with a dream to give parents access to resources which would enable them to navigate the everyday challenges of having a child with learning and attention issues. It is an innovative online resource which brings together 15 'for-purpose' organisations to share their resources and research.
